Annie Saunders

Annie Saunders is a Pittsburgh-based writer, editor, and researcher who currently serves as an editor for Extra Crunch, TechCrunch’s subscription product. Annie is a generalist: She previously worked as an editor and writer for Heated, Mark Bittman’s food website on Medium, and as managing editor of LedBetter, a database that provides consumers with accessible data on the number of women in leadership roles at large public corporations, in addition to reporting and editing work for S&P Global Platts and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Annie holds a bachelor’s degree in English writing and anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
